Chief Executive Officer for Ashantigold Frederick Acheampong has confirmed Samed Ibrahim did not renew his contract with the Miners after the expiration of his contract.

Acheampong confirmed both Samed Ibrahim and Tijjani Joshua did not renew their contract despite the management readiness to offer them contract renewal.

“Samed Ibrahim contract has ended, he didn’t renew his contract. Same as Tijjani Joshua.

” We did not register them for our  African campaign because they are not part of the team, Samed is not included in our  African squad” He told Kessben FM Sports.

Frederick Acheampong also hinted the some of players have changed their mind and might renew their contract with the club.

” Some of the players have changed their mind. Talks are ongoing but I can’t say anything about it for now. I have a good relationship with both players. We will see what at will happen”.

The 27 year old defender joined Ashantigold from New Edubiase in 2017.
