Ghana and Chelsea defender Baba Rahman was with the Muslim community in London to perform Sunday’s Eid ul Adha celebration.
The gesture was the first by a Ghanaian player in England’s top tiers and Baba has been hugely hailed for that.
Ibrahim Halilu Rahman Grusah spoke to footballmadeinghana.com and described Baba as a humble personality who respects his religious duties.
“We’re humbled by his presence. He surprised us with the visit. This is the first time a Muslim player from Ghana has joined us to perform Eid prayers in London.
“Baba is really a humble person who respects his religious duties. We are grateful for the visit,” Grusah said.
