Several Ghanaian players announced their presence loudly this weekend around the world especially with the start of the European season and in the CAF club competitions.
Many Ghanaian players including defenders found the back of the net for their sides.
John Antwi and Joel Fameyeh stole the headlines with their stupendous outings, scoring a brace each for their clubs.

Richard Ofori (GK) – Maritzburg United: The Black Stars goalkeeper was between the sticks for South African side Maritzburg United. Ofori lasted the entire duration of the game as he guided then to pick a point against Highlanders Park. He made some sweet saves.
Samuel Mensah – Östersunds FK: The defender amazing for his side as they traveled to pick a point at GIF Sundsvall. He made some nice clearances.
Joachim Adukor – Diósgyőri VTK: Adukor lasted the entire duration of the game for his side as they shockingly lost at home to Ujpest in the Hungarian League. He was however outstanding.
Enoch Adu Kofi – AIK: The hardworking midfielder guided his side AIK in the Swedish Allsvenskan to pick all points. AIK recorded a 4-2 away win over AFC Eskilstuna in a game Adu Kofi was splendid.
Kudus Mohammed – Nordsjaelland: The Ghana U20 playmaker was at it again after scoring to snatch a point for his side. He opened the scoring in the 52nd minute against Silkeborg but was substituted in the 76th minute.
David Atanga – Holstein Kiel: Atanga was the toast of fans in the German DFB Pokal on Saturday after he scored and set up three other goals in his sides in their 6-0 away win over Salmrohr. The Ghanaian was simply unstoppable.
Leonard Owusu – Ashdod: The former Dreams FC skipper was on target for his side Ashdod I n the 4-1 away thumping of Raanana in the Israel Toto Cup. Owusu lasted the entire duration of the game and scored his side’s third goal.
Joel Fameyeh – Orenburg FC: The former Asokwa Desportivo striker turned in two quickfire goals for FC Orenburg to pick up a 2-2 draw at home against FC Tambov in Saturday’s Russia Premier League game.
Michael Sarpong – Rayon Sport: Sarpong scored to help his outfit Rayon Sports play a 1-1 drawn game with Sudanese Al Hilal Club in Rwanda in the CAF Champions League. He lasted the entire duration of the game.
John Antwi – Pyramids FC: Religious goal scorer John Antwi grabbed a brace for FC Pyramids as they thrashed Congolese side Etoile du Congo 4-1 in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.
