Ghanaian striker Michael Sarpong is excited to make his CAF Champions League bow for Rayon Sport this weekend.
The Rwandan champions face an uphill task against Sudan’s Al Hilal FC on Sunday in the first leg of the preliminary round encounter.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com, the former Dreams FC hitman revealed he cannot wait to have a feel of the continent’s biggest club competition.
“I’m actually preparing day after day for this game. It will mean a lot more for me to have a feel of the CAF Champions League”
The 23 year old is in great form ahead of the titanic clash, he scored the only goal in his side’s final preparatory game against AS Kigali.
A feat he says he will be aiming to repeat come Sunday; “As an arrow head of the team I don’t have any excuse than to score on that day. May God help put a smile on the faces of the fans”.
