Black Meteors Coach Ibrahim Tanko has handed a maiden call up to Karela United midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh ahead of Ghana’s game against Algeria in the last round of qualifiers for African U23 championship in Egypt.
Footballmadeinghana.com can confirm the midfielder will be part of the team when the team assemble to begin camping ahead of the game later this month.
Keyeke was impressive for Karela United in the Normalization Committee special Competition, he played a massive role for the team road to the final.
Ghana will host the Algeria U23 side on September 5th for the first leg tie and travel to Algiers on 9th September for the reverse league.
The winner of the two-legged fixture will gain one of the slots to the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt.
