Ghana striker John Antwi has officially completed a surprise move to Egyptian giants Pyramids FC.
The Egypt-based goal machine completed theo mon Tuesday morning in what could be described as the biggest transfer for the side so far this season.
Antwi joins the big spenders on a 3-year deal from Misr Makassa where he scored a total of 37 goals since joining the club midway 2016/17 season.
The move is expected to see him increase his tally as the highest foreign scorer of the league after surpassing Papa Poku at 69 goals.
The former Al Ahly and Ismaily player made his first appearance in the Egypt Premier League in 2012 and has moved on to gain a cult status in the North African country.
