Tough talking founder of King Faisal Babies FC Alhaji Karim Grusah has advised Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah to resign before he’s sacked to save himself from embarrassment following Ghana Black Stars awful outing in the just ended #AFCON2019 in Egypt.
Ghana failed to progressed from the round of 16 in this year’s AFCON campaign after losing 5-4 on penalties to the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia at the Ismailia Stadium.
The Black Stars suffered their worse performance at the AFCON since 2006 with a dreadful outing in Egypt.
And Alhaji Karim Grusah believes Kwasi Appiah should have resigned long ago.
“Coach Appiah should save himself the embarrassment and resign smoothly,” he told Okokroko FM.
Grusah believes that the poor outing of the team should be enough to see Kwasi Appiah gone as Ghana coach, citing other coaches who have been axed despite performing better than Ghana at the tournament.
Following the AFCON tournament, several coaches including Herve Renard of Morocco, have resigned while many others have been sacked.
