Sacked Asante Kotoko player Moussa Adingra is demanding his $35k signing on fee from Asante Kotoko after the club terminated his contract six days after signing for the club.
According to the former Lobi stars player, the club assesed him at training before giving him the contract. The player also stated he scored two goals in a friendly game before signing the contract, so he was surprised why the club wanted to terminate his contract.
“I came to Asante Kotoko and they looked at me at the training. They signed me for 3 years. I played my first game at training and scored two goals” he told Nhyira FM Sports
“I was at the Kotoko secretariat when the management told me they want to terminate my contract. I told them why and they said I have a medical problem. I quickly reacted, “me Adingra have a medical problem”
“After telling me I have a medical problem, I challenged them and they later came back and told me they are terminating the contract for non-performance. I didn’t understand them because when I played the training match, I scored two goals so where from the non-performance”
Moussa also insisted Kotoko must pay him a compensation or he will report the conduct of the club to FIFA.
“I want to meet the chairman of Asante Kotoko to discuss the issue, if they give me a compensation package fine I will agree and sign the termination contract but if not will take my ticket and go back home and take the case to FIFA”
