Kumasi Asante Kotoko new striker George Abege has revealed signing for the Porcupine Warrrior is a big step forward for him in his career.
The former Kariobangi Sharks player arrived in Ghana last Saturday to begin his career with the Porcupines after signing a three year deal.
Speaking to the media at the club training ground, the Uganda striker revealed completing a move to the Porcupine Warriors is a huge step in his career. He also vowed to work hard and bring smiles to the faces of the fans.
“Am am so grateful to Kotoko for having trust in me, of course it comes with a big challenge. As a player you always dream of making a step I think is one of step I made toward my career. I know it comes with a huge challenge and I know it’s up to me to step up to the expectations of the fans.
“I know they are expecting a lot from me. I believe in my ability, my hard work and determination, I think I’m in the right hands. With the cooperation from my teammates and Technical team we will be able to achieve and make our fans smile”
George Abege has been included in Kotoko’s 29 man squad for the CAF Champions League.
