Seasoned football Administrator Kofi Manu ‘Blue Boy’ has jumped to the defence of underfire Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah.

According to him, Despite Ghana’s disastrous performance at the AFCON, the coach can not be solely blame for the team output in Egypt.

“Why should Kwesi Appiah be sacked” He asked on Ashh FM Sports

“He took a decision and none of the elders advised him , at least I advised him. We have to maintain him for now. I don’t see any reason why we should sack him”

” Every coach has his choice and preference, someone can come and drop Dede. No individual has an automatic call up in the tea”

The former management member of Berekum Arsenals also rejected the claim that the Black stars must be dissolved.

“People just say Blackstars should be dissolved, how can that be ? . Blackstars is unlike club teams like Asante Kotoko where players sign contract. It can’t happen”
