Ghanaian-born Arsenal defender Jordi Osei Tutu was the subject of racial abuse during VfL Bochum’s friendly with Swiss Super League side St. Gallen.
According to the Bild Sports, Slimen Kchouk has been fingered for perpetrating the unwanted act.
Bochum representative Sebastian Schindzielorz has confirmed that the club has spoken with St Gallen about the situation.
The incident is understood to have occurred in the 43rd minute of their friendly forcing Osei-Tutu to complain to the referee, pointing at Kchouk, before bursting into tears.
Osei-Tutu is expected to communicate publicly about the incident later today.
