Ashanti Gold SC striker Shafiu Mumuni has confirmed he is having trial with South African Premier League side Super Sport United FC.

The 25 year old attacker arrived at Pretoria last week and has been training with the club in order to grab a permanent deal in the coming days.

Shafiu revealed everything is going on well and he is expecting to sign for the club in the coming days.

“Yes I am in South Africa and having trials at Supersport United. It’s going on well and hopefully, I’ll stay here,” he told FootballMadeInGhana.

Mumuni scored eight goals for ashanti Gold in both the tier one and two leagues.

He was instrumental in Ashanti Gold SC qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition tier-2.
