Former AshantiGold forward Richard Dodji has completed his move to Tanzanian top-flight side Azam FC.

Djodi was available as a free agent after his contract with the Miners run out in June this year.

All attempts by the management of AshantiGold to extend his stay proved futile.

The Ivorian penned a three year deal with the Dar es Salaam based club after passing a routine medical on Thursday.

He is expected to play a significant role in their next season’s CAF Confederation campaign after finishing 3rd in the Tanzanian Premier League last term.
