Spanish top-flight side Celta Vigo have signed Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo from KRC Genk.

The former Inter Allies centre-back  joins the Sky Blues for a reported €8 million fee.

The 23 year old penned a five year deal that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2024.

Aidoo caught the eye of coach Fran Escriba following his outstanding 2018/2019 season where he guided Genk to the Belgian league title.

He will be presented to the media and fans on Friday at 7:00 pm.

Aidoo was part of the Black Stars team that were eliminated by Tunisia in the round of 16 at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
