Ashanti Gold are requesting for a compensation from Tema United for the transfer of Godfred Asiamah to Asante Kotoko.

Asiamah was playing on loan for Ashanti Gold before his transfer to Asante Kotoko after the finals of the tier two competition.

The Porcupines Warriors announced the capturing of the winger three days ago after reaching agreement with his parent club Tema United.

But Ashanti Gold upon receiving the notification insisted they bought the player outright from his parent club Tema United despite admitting not discussing personal terms with the player.

Footballmadeinghana.con understands Ashanti Gold are not happy with the conduct of the player and the management of Tema United and are contemplating taken club on if the necessary payment are not made to them.

According to our source, Tema United are ready to resolve the issue with Ashanti Gold amicably to prevent any litigation.

The source further explained Ashanti Gold will not block the player’s move to the Porcupine Warriors but will deal  directly with his parent club for their compensation.
