Caleb Ekuban has apologized to Ghanaians after his penalty miss cost Black Stars a place in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation in Egypt.
Ghana were eliminated by Tunisia in a penalty shootout after the match ended 1-1 after extra time.
The Trabzonspor striker was left devastated as he was the only one of 10 players to miss a spot kick in the shootout.
The 25 year old was in tears at the end, spotted sobbing into his shirt.
Caleb’s teammates had to console him as the striker took his side’s exit badly.
He took to his twitter page after the game to ask for forgiveness;
I’m really sorry 😞
