Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Ugandan striker, George Abege, from Kenyan giants, Kariobangi Shark on a three year deal.
The player completed his move to the Porcupines after agreeing terms with the club on Tuesday.
George Abege’s International Transfer Certificate (ITC) has reached the Porcupines, and the player is expected to join his colleagues this week.
The lanky forward caught the eyes of the Kotoko management when he featured against them in the CAF Confederation Cup Group stage.
He has become the ninth payer to join Asante Kotoko in a space of one week since their arrival of Kwame Baah, winger Mathew Kelvin Andoh; defender Empem Dacoster, midfielder Justice Blay , Ivorian striker Adingra Bidodane Moussa ,Winger Godfred Asiamah and left back Bright Enchil.
He is expected to boost the attack of the Porcupines ahead of the CAF Champions League
Abege has featured for Sony Sugar, Nairobi City Stars and Bandari-all in Kenya.
