Ashanti Gold defeated Division One side Nzema Kotoko by 1-0 to win the tier two of the Normalization Committee Special Competition, grabbing a ticket to represent Ghana in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
A first half strike from young chap Mark Agyakum secured the victory for the Miners.
Nzema Kotoko finished the game with 10 men after Akesse Akesse was sent of in the 72nd minute .
Kjetil Zachariassen made only one change to the team that beat Kotoko in the semi finals, Joseph Godwin replacing injured Latif Anabila.
