Ghana were held to 0-0 draw to Cameroon in their second group game of the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
Despite putting up an improve perfomance compared to their first game against Benin.
The Blacks Stars couldn’t break the resilient Cameroon defense.

Richard Ofori( 8/10)- Monstrous performance by Ofori, Produced three saves in the first half. First on Ikambi, then from Bassogog and one from Njie.
Andy Yiadom( 7/10) – Decent game by the right back. Improved performance compare to the first game. Had a golden chance in the second but his feeble shot was saved by Onana. Struggled a lot defensively.
Baba Rahman(7/10)- Master performance from Baba Rahman. Kept Bassogog at bay in the whole game. Had all his crossess on point. Nearly cost the team with a terrible mistake but Richard Ofori saved his him.
Kassim Nuhu( 8/10)- Another assuring performance by the Hoffeinhem defender. Was immense at the back. Won all the aerial duels and didn’t give biyik any space to breath.
Jonathan Mensah(7/10)- Solid at the back. Denied Ekambi in the first half with a timely clearance. Played under no pressure. Was very confident on the ball and didn’t out any foot wrong in the game.
Mubarak Wakaso( 6/10)- Provided the needed shield for the back four. Had most of his long passes wrong. Made some good recoveries to stop some dangerous attack. Very solid performance.
Thomas Partey(6 /10) – Average Performance by the Atletico Madrid Star. Was defensively ohk but contributed nothing on the attack. Was let down several times by his passes.
Andre Ayew(7/10) – Started very well with a lot of energy. Very workaholic and look to chase the ball everywhere. Was off the colour in the second half.
Jordan Ayew(6 /10)- Work very hard for the team. Had to dropped deep for the balls. Didn’t get enough suppliers from the midfield. Wane out in the second half.
Christian Atsu(2 /10) – Got in injured after 15 minutes. Didn’t make any impact in the game.
Kwadwo Asamoah(6/10)- A gameĀ to forget for Kwadwo Asamoah. Dissapointed performances by the Inter Millan player. Failed to impose himself in the game.
Substitution
Samuel Owusu ( 6/10)– Very Promising performances from Samuel Owusu. Pacey and skillful. Always dangerous on the attack. Need to work on his final delivery.
Asamoah Gyan ( 4/10) – Looked off the pace. Had a glorious chance to score late in the game but delayed for Ngadeu to clear the danger.
Kwabena Owusu (5/10)– Had a glorious chance in the second half, but was denied by the crossbar.
