Cameroon coach Calarence Seedorf has announced that captain Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will be available for Saturday’s decisive Group F match against Ghana.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward picked up a knock and had to be substituted in their 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday.
Despite missing Cameroon’s recovery session on Thursday, the Dutch manager confirmed his skipper will back in group training today and is expected to receive the medical green light for tomorrow’s crucial match.
“Choupo Moting is ok! He took a day off to recover. He will train today with the other players” Seedorf told reporters.
The Indomitable Lions will face the Black Stars tomorrow at 5pm at the Ismailia Stadium whilst Benin lock horns with Guinea Bissau in the other group game later at the same venue.
