Mallam Shamuna Uztaz Jibril has revealed that a spiritual sacrifice is needed if the Black Stars are to end the country’s 37-year wait for an Africa Cup of Nations title in Egypt.
Speaking in an interview with Peacefmonline.com, the Islamic cleric said the team must come to him with “66 White doves, 1 white female Camel and 19 Sheeps” for that particular sacrifice.
According to the self-acclaimed soothsayer, failure to heed his advice will spell doom for the senior national team for many years to come.
The four-time winners began their Group F campaign with an unconvincing 2-2 draw with Benin on Tuesday.
Ghana will next face defending champions Cameroon in a decisive encounter at the Ismailia Stadium on Saturday.
