All is set for Friday’s home coming event as Dreams FC continues to celebrate a decade of nurturing talents and existence as a strong football brand.
In light of this the planning committee of #DFCat10 has put together an enhanced version of the annual homecoming match that pitches the first team of Dreams FC (Stage 1) against products of Dreams FC who are playing for clubs abroad.
This year’s ceremony which will be held on June 14, 2019 will kick off with a donation towards to continuous construction of the Ashale Botwe mosque, a food bazaar where our DFC products will serve and fete members of the Ashale Botwe community before the homecoming game itself which will kickoff at the Ashale Botwe Park at 3:30pm.
Apart from Black Stars and Reims defender Baba Rahman who is out on national duty for the 2019 AFCON, all exports of the club are expected to field in the star studded encounter.
The DFC legions would be lead by record holder of the foreign top scorer gong of the Egyptian league, John Antwi who arrived in Ghana a week ago.
The squad would also include ex-DFC skipper Leonard Owusu who currently plies his trade with FC Ashdod in Israel. Sparta Prague striker Benjamin Tetteh is also expected to exhibit his prowess upfront.
The Spanish quartet of Emmanuel Lomotey (Villareal), John Otu ( Real Zaragoza) , Rashid Sani (Girona), Clifford Hanson and Ginaid Aruna ( Extramadura) arrived in the capital last night for the big day of Friday.
Others also include Emmanuel Adjei Sowah (Anderletch, Belgium), George Dwubeng (El Wasr, Abu Dhabi), Johnson O.O (FC Maritimo, Portugal).
The club has already held an anniversary launch and commissioned a club house in Dawu as part of the Dreams @ 10 activities.
