The second edition of the Ghana Football Awards was formally launched on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Samsung Premium Rooftop located on the Circle Ring Road in Accra.
The well-attended ceremony was also used to unveil nominees for the various categories.
Black Stars and Atlético Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan and Black Queens striker Mukarama Abdulai go head to head for the topmost award on the night.
While Johnson Smith (Karela United), C.K Akunnor (Kotoko) and Augustine Adotey (Black Maidens) will battle it out for the Coach of the Year title.
The Homebased Footballer of the Year award will be contested by Kotoko duo Felix Annan, Fatawu Safiu and Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan.
