Ghana Black Stars General Skipper Asamoah Gyan as been enstooled as a Chief for the Gbï traditional area in the Volta Region.

The title was bestowed on him based on humanitarian services in the Hohoe Town which includes putting up a water project and other amenities for St. Francis College of Education.

The Kayserispor striker is on a three-day visit to St. Francis College of Education where his late mother Madam Cecilia Love Amoako had her education.

The Paramount Chief of Gbi Traditional Area, Togbega Gabusu VI, thanked Gyan for the developmental projects he is undertaken in the area and wished him well in the coming AFCON.
