Ghanaian international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has lauded the Udinese playing body following their 2-1 away win over Calgliari in the Italian Serie A over the weekend.

Badu who captained the side was in fine form as the “Zebra’s” recorded a win at the Sardegna Arena to finish 12th on the table.

The Ghanaian central midfielder was full of praise for the Udinese fraternity and also promised that next season will be better for them.

“I congratulate my teammates, we saved ourselves and we won this game. I thank the club and fans, we hope that next year we will be more better.”Badu told his club’s website

“Captain? I was a little excited, I have to thank the company that in this period they have always been close to me.”

Badu who has been out of action for a long time made four Serie A appearances this campaign.
