Ghana and Newcastle winger Christian Atsu is stepping up his personal training ahead of Ghana’s outing at the 2019 AFCON to be staged in Egypt.
The Newcastle winger has been doing some intensive personal training following the summer break in his home country Ghana.
With the assistant of his manager Abdul Haye Yartey, Atsu has been going through series of exercises to shape up for the tournament.
The Newcastle winger is one of the 29 players invited by Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah for the tournament which comes off next month.
The swift winger announced on his official facebook handle how he’s shaping up for the tournament which has become the major target of the Black Stars.
Ghana have been chasing the AFCON trophy for the past 37 years and have targeted winning it in Egypt next month.
