Ghana defender Emmanuel Eli Keke was named in the Icelandic Deild League Team of the Week following his impressive display for Olafsvik Vikingur in their 2-1 away win over Throttur Reykjavik.

Eli was a pillar at the back for Vikingur in the Week Three encounter at the Eimskipsvollurinn as he put up another solid performance for his side.

The former Dreams FC player defended gallantly and occasionally moved up to support the attack.

This is the second time in three games this season that Eli has made it to the team of the week.

The 23-year-old won his club’s player of the season in 2018.
