The Ghana FA Normalization Committee has rescheduled the final games in the NC Special Competition following a decision by Asante Kotoko to pull out of the competition.
The Porcupine Warriors had threatened to pull out of the competition following an earlier decision by the NC not to give them space to honour the Otumfuo Cup clash with Asec Mimosas on Sunday.
The matches will now be played on Thursday 23rd May, 2019.
This is to make way for Asante Kotoko to honour the 20th anniversary game of Otumfuo Osei Tutu against Asec Mimosas on Sunday, 26th May, 2019.
In a letter signed by the Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association NC, Alex Asante, the committee apologized for any inconvenience the rescheduled might have caused.
Below is the full test of the statement:
“The Ghanaian Football Association send its compliments.
“Kindly take note that all Premier Group A, Day fourteen matches in the ongoing NC Special Competition has been rescheduled for Thursday, 23rd May, 2019 at 3:00p at the various centers.
“We really apologize for any inconvenience this reschedule might have caused.”
