Following the retirement of Asamoah Gyan and other matters arising regarding the Black Stars, Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has been summoned for a crisis meeting by the Ghana FA Normalization Committee.
The meeting will involve the Black stars Management Committee and will take place on Tuesday afternoon.
Appiah is believed to have forced Asamoah Gyan to retire from international football following a decision to take the armband from him for another player.
Appiah wanted Gyan to act as General Captain of the team, a decision the striker did not welcome.
Insiders say Appiah will also have to defend his decision to add former Middlesbrough captain George Boateng to his backroom staff as a scout for the tournament.
His meeting with Normalisation Committee on Monday ended abruptly after failing to convince the committee following the decisions he took.
Appiah had earlier axed Maxwell Konadu and Ismail Hamidu from the technical team of the Black Stars.
