AshGold blew away Bechem United by 4-0 in the penultimate clash of the NC Special Competition to maintain an unbeaten home run in the competition.
Three first half goals from Shafiu Mumuni, Appiah McCarthy and own goal from Douglas Opoku, and second half strike from Amos Nkrumah secured the comfortable win for the Miners.

Amos Nkrumah, moments after hitting the goal post, couldn’t hit the back of the net from close range, after he came into contact with a perfectly delivered cross from Nti Mensah.
Ashanti Gold will finally break the deadlock in the 32nd minute as Roland Amouzou’s cross from the left was connected by Douglas Opoku into his own net to give the home side the lead.
Appiah McCarthy made it two for the home side in the 38th minutes with a good finish.

Amos Nkrumah made it 4-0 for Ashanti Gold after curling the ball beyond the reach of Daniel Afadzwu.
The game ended 4-0 in favour of Ashanti Gold.
The Miners are now second on the table with 20 points behind Asante Kotoko who beat Medeama SC to move top with 21 points.
