Anderlecht scout Dimitri Mertens has arrived in Accra for the tenth edition of the Best in Ghana Soccer Fiesta.

The astute scout landed in Accra on Saturday ahead of arguably Ghana’s biggest scouting fiesta which kicks off on Sunday.

Dimitri has been a constant figure in the Best in Ghana Soccer Fiesta as each year he comes to scout players for the Belgian giants.

He was the one who scouted Emmanuel Adjei Sowah and Dauda Mohammed in past editions of the fiesta before taking them to Anderlecht.

Dimitri who is the son of former Anderlecht Chief Scout Albert Mertens was once a footballer but retired early because of injuries.
