MLS side Columbus Crew have announced the transfer of Ghana winger David Accam to Nashville SC.
The 28 year old who joined Columbus last week for $500,000 in allocation money and an international roster spot, was traded for $450,000 in allocation (plus the use of Accam the rest of the season).
Accam will stay with the Crew through the season, moving to Nashville on Jan. 1, 2020.
He made his Crew debut over the weekend, coming off the bench and playing 25 minutes in a 3-0 loss to LAFC.
“David is a very exciting player,” said Nashville coach Gary Smith in a statement.
“He has exceptionally good pace, he’s shown throughout his career that he’s a good creator, able to get himself on the score sheet and be a difference-maker in front of goal. He is an incredibly exciting player for the club to have landed.”
