Ghana attacker Elvis Manu netted his ninth goal in all competitions this season in Turkey as his side Akhisar Belediyespor lost 3-1 to Galatasary in the Turkish Cup on Wednesday.
After a barren first-half at the Yeni Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium, the Dutch-born Ghanaian opened the scoring for Akhisar in the 57th minute after being beautifully set up by Guray Vura.
Galatasary labored until the 80th minute as they restored parity through Sinan Gumus after Miguel Lopes had been shown a red card for a professional foul in the box.
Sofiane Feghouli and Mbaye Diagne then scored in the 88th minute and 90th minute respectively to hand Galatasary the victory.
Manu who is on the wanted list of Besiktas has scored six league goals and three in the Turkish Cup
