Ninety two games and still counting. That is the number of games Karela United have played at the 7000-capacity Crosby Awuah Memorial Park at Aiyinase since the opening of the park on February 7th 2016.
They have registered an impressive 85 wins and managed only 7 draws in those 92 games at the ground.
The venue was officially opened with an audition game against a local side that was defeated by 2-0.
The first ever competitive game at the CAM Park was on 16th February against Sekondi Hasaacas in the GN Bank Division One League, and the Karela United won that game by 2-0.
Their latest victory against West African Football Academy made it 92 matches without a defeat at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park
Like it or not, this is quite an impressive feat and deserves a mention in our football folklore.
Karela United gained promotion to the Ghana Premier League in the 2017/2018 season.
Due to the Anas #12 expose, only the first round of games were played as the league was truncated.
The Aiyinase based club played eight games at home, winning six and drawing two. Including a 3-1 defeat each against the giants of Ghana football – AsantebKotoko and Hearts of Oak.

It even look more interesting to know that, Karela United have 100% record at home in the ongoing Normalization Committee Special Competition.
They have won all the five games they have played so far at the CAM Park, scoring eight goals and allowing only one into enter their net.

Only Eleven Wonders and Elmina Sharks have been able to pick a point at the CAM Park since their promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
Karela United have played 59 competitive games at their home grounds.
They have come up on top on 57 occasions and shared the points for only two games.
They have since scored 135 goals, allowing only 32 into their goal.
It now hangs over the heads of clubs that trek to the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, not only do they have to beat one of the strongest club in Ghana, they also have to contend with the fact that this team is playing for the added glory of extending the remarkable run of an undefeated matches.
“The management, playing body, technical team and fans vowed to make the centre a fortress and that is what it has become.
“Our pitch is one of the best in the country. We train on it and that is a major factor as well.
“The fans are amazing and they are always there to cheer us to victory,” head of Business Development and Communication Director Alagidede Eric told footballmadeinghana.com.
In football when you go for a long time without experiencing a defeat at home, the stadium will automatically become “fortress” for visitors or opponents.
Once a team sees itself as able to beat any side that comes to their home ground, it becomes very tough to convincing them otherwise.
But the real question at this point is: Can any club end this impressive run in the current competition? Or we have to wait for another season before we see an end to this impressive record?
This enviable feet does not include the one week memorial match, in honour of the owner of the club Senator David Brigide, won by Medeama SC at the same venue.
