Ghana U23 duo Musah Nuhu and Majeed Ashmeru were at their usual best guiding St. Gallen to a 2-1 win over Sion in the Swiss Super League.
Ashmeru provided an assist for Guillemenot to break the virginity of the game on the stroke of half time but Adryan drew level for the visitors three minutes from the break.
Barnetta restored the lead for the home side with ten minutes to end the game to secure all three points.
Nuhu’s ingenuity and height advantage saw high come close to scoring before the winner but his header missed the post by inches.
Ashmeru who has been an influential member of the St Gallen side as usual stole the show with his swashbuckling moves and beautiful performance.
Both Ghanaian players have stolen the headlines in Switzerland with their high work rates and stupendous displays.
