Ebusua Dwarfs have been handed a temporary ban by the Ghana FA Normalization Committee following attacks on match officials and Hearts of Oak players, FootballMadeInGhana.com can confirm.
Match officials and Hearts of Oak players were subjected to brutal beatings during the match day 11 encounter between the two sides.
The brutal assault by players, officials and fans of Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday left the victims with no option than to run for their lives as security personnel struggled to restore calm.
The barbaric act has forced the Ghana FA Normalization Committee to ban Ebusua Dwarfs from using the facility to honour their home games in the competition.
With three matches to end the preliminary round of the competition, Ebusua Dwarfs will play their remaining two home matches away from home.
The NC is yet to communicate the new venue for the Crabs to play their immediate home with Dreams FC game which come off on Wednesday.
Already, Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea have suffered similar punishments following attacks on Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko.
