Liberty Professionals coach Reginald Asante says he was very confident that his side will defeat Elmina Sharks in the NC Special Competition match day 11 clash at the Carl Reindorf Park.

The home side opened the scoring in the 9th minute through skipper Simon Zibo before Amonu equalized for Sharks. Two quick goals in the space of two minutes from Benjamin Eshun (34th) and Kyei Baffour (36th) ensured that the Dasoman club carried the day.

Asante who is gradually building a winsome team emphasized that he knew Sharks could not stand his outfit

“Technically tactically we were better than them, we went to their home to draw, we knew we could beat them. We deserve this win.” Asante told the Press.

Liberty Professionals are fourth in Zone B with 16 points.
