Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan staged a stupendous outing on Sunday afternoon when he came from the bench to hit a brace to secure vital win for Kayserispor over Kisampasa in the Turkish Super Lig.
Gyan who has been warning the bench for most parts of the season after his injury return was introduced into the game on the 55th minute for Turkish forward Atila Turan.
Gyan’s magic was expected as Ben Youssef had shot the visitors in front in the 26th minute of the game.
Gyan who came on from the bench restored parity for the home side in the 74th minute to open a window of hope for the Kayseri side.
Five minutes later, the Ghana striker forced the entire stadium on their feet when he slotted home a beautiful pass from fellow countryman Bernard Mensah to win the game for the home side.
With two games to end the season, the Ghana skipper is expected to score more to convince Coach Kwasi Appiah for a place in Ghana’s AFCON squad.
