Karela FC continued their home formidability with a comfortable 2-0 win over Academy side WAFA at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday in the NC Special Competition.
A brace from Diawusie Taylor condemned the academy boys to another defeat on the road.
It was a close encounter in the early stages of the game as both sides to break the deadlock.
Diawusie Taylor put the home side in the lead halfway in the first half after a wonderful work by his teammates.
Karela looked the better side as they look to add on to their lead.
Diawusie Taylor doubled the home side’s lead few minute to the end of the first half with a lovely finish in the penalty box.
The first half ended 2-0 in favour of Karela United.
Despite creating a lot of chances and having more of the balls, Karela United failed to add on to their lead.
It wasn’t a good day for the WAFA boys as they spent majority of the game chasing their opponents.
The game ended Karela 2-0 WAFA
