Tensions are running high between Kwesi Appiah and Chairman of the GFA Normalization Committee over the recall of Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng back into the Black Stars fold.
Dr. Kofi Amoah revealed that he has asked Ghana coach to consider handing call-ups to Boateng and Muntari ahead of the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
Information from the camp of Kwesi Appiah however indicate the coach is refusing to back down, increasing tension and possibility of a standoff with the governing body.
Local media reports suggest the 58 year old manager is ready to quit his post if he loses it out in the battle of wills.
The two players have not featured for the Black Stars since the 2014 World Cup debacle in Brazil.
Boateng was sacked from the camp for verbally assaulting coach Kwesi Appiah while Muntari was dismissed from the team for physically attacking Ghana FA official Moses Armah.
