Ghana Black Stars defender Nicholas Opoku is nursing a knee injury and could miss the 2019 AFCON due to that.

Opoku suffered a knee injury at training and has not featured for Udinese since their 3-2 win over Empoli on April 7, 2019.

The player has been out of training since then as the Udinese medical team continue to work on his condition.

With Ghana Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah set to name his 30-man provisional squad for the AFCON this weekend, it is not known if he will include Opoku.
