A 10-man Liberty Professionals held Accra Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday after the Phobians swashbuckling performance against WAFA in their previous game.
Despite playing most part of the game with one man advantage, the Phobians failed to get the ball at the back of net as the Dansoman lads picked a point at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking to the media after the game, Kim Grant stated the visitors came to frustrate his side and not for the three points.
“They came here to be happy with a point. All the same we didn’t concede a goal.
“They came here to defend, they parked the midfield and played with three at the back.
“And more or less try to catch us on counter. I felt we didn’t start well at all,” he lamented.
The former Technical Director of Elmina Sharks also talked about the momentum of his side.
“I just felt our momentum, our energy and our work ethics wasn’t the best.
“We had chances to score but we couldn’t utilize that. But we are happy we didn’t concede,” he added.
The Phobians are still at the summit of the Zone B table with 19 points.
