Black Queens trainer, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has promised her side will play an attractive brand of football in the WAFU Zone B competition.

The reigning champions will kick start their campaign against Senegal tonight at the Robert Champroux stadium.

In an interview with NBSportslive, the confident coach said:

“Fortunately that’s our style, we possess the ball from the defensive third to middle third then the attacking third.

“Once a while, we use the flanks to stretch play. We have Grace Asantewaa, Evelyn Badu and Juliet Acheampong so I am very confident.

“When developing our attack, Alice Kusi and Mavis Owusu open up the game, making our wing play very swift.”

Ghana won the first edition in 2017, defeating Cote D’Ivoire in the finals and are hunting for back-to-back glory after their botched AWCON campaign.
