The Ministry of Youth and Sports and GHALCA have reached an amicable settlement with Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) over their unpaid allowances.
Officiating fees have not been paid referees since the start of the Normalization Committee Special Competition in March.
The referees are reportedly owed officiating fees in excess of Ghs 300,000.
RAG released a statement on Monday withdrawing their services from the Special Competition after the Ghana FA failed to meet an end of April deadline.
However thanks to the intervention of government, cheques will be issued to the officials today to clear any outstanding debt.
Hence, midweek matches are expected to come off as scheduled.
