The Black Meteors of Ghana have opened camp today ahead of the final qualifier for the 2019 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.
Twenty local players have been invited to the national U-23 camp as they begin the first phase of preparations for the clash against their Algerian counterparts.
The foreign based players are expected to join the team in two weeks time.
The Black Meteors eliminated Gabon in the penultimate round to set up this clash with the Algerians.
The first leg of the clash against the North Africans will be played here in Ghana at the Accra Sports Stadium in June
Ghana will be hoping to make a return to the Olympic Games since they last represented in 2004.
