Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu has expressed his joy after his side beat Berekum Chelsea to move to the top of Zone A table in the ongoing Normalisation Committee Special Competition.
The Yellow and Mauves fought back from a goal down to clinch the vital 2-1 victory at the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi on Wednesday.
“It is amazing to be top and I would like to thank the players and the technical team for the victory. The players were at their best and they listened to instructions.
Every team that faces Medeama prepares very well because they know our quality. It is quite unfortunate for us that we gave away an early goal but the boys came back into the game but we wasted all the chances that we created and we could have scored more.” Boadu said in his post-match interview.
Medeama travel to face Eleven Wonders in Week 9 of the competition on May 5.
