Ampem darkoaa ladies fc have been handed a major boost following the return of star striker Priscilla Adubea from a long injury lay-off.
The former Black Princesses captain has been declared fit by orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Agbeko Ocloo to return to active football.
It could be recalled that, the striker limped off during a game in Cape Coast when the Black Princesses played against Cameroon, in their last qualifying game for France 2018 U20 World Cup.
Few months after that incident, exactly on 27th May,2018, she visited the knives at the Surgical department of the Korle-bu teaching hospital and has since been recuperating.
Miss Adubea had a dream of dazzling at the world stage with the U20 but unfortunately, the script didn’t go as planned as her dreams were cut short by the injury.
Undoubtedly one of Ghana’s rising star in women’s football, she netted 38 goals for Ampem Darkoa in two seasons and was also the top scorer of the last season’s Women’s FA Cup.
Her contribution to the Black Princesses during the qualifiers was enormous netting over 9 goals and becoming the joint top scorer of the African U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
