Ghana teenager George Dwubeng says he is pleased with his first goal for Al Wasl in the Emirati Gulf League as he believes it will boost his confidence.
Dwubeng nodded home a Ronaldo Mendes corner in the 58th minute on Saturday evening as Al Wasl demolished giants Al Jazira by three goals to one.
The budding enforcer pointed out that the goal he scored will lift his morale ahead of subsequent games.
“I am very glad with my first league goal. It has come at the right time. It has lifted my confidence up very much” Dwubeng told footballmadeinghana.com
“I will continue to do my best, and I will keep working hard for the team. We are looking forward to the next games”
Dwubeng joined Al Wasl in January this year from Romanian side FC Lasi and he has gradually warmed himself into the team.
