Policy Analyst of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Amo Sarpong has been beaten to a pulp by an angry mob at the Golden City Park.

The vociferous administrator was attacked after he reportedly fired gun shots at the provocative home crowd before kickoff of the clash between Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko.

Policemen at the ground had to intervene swiftly to contain the melee.

Sarpong has since been taken to the hospital to receive treatment after sustaining serious injuries to head.
