Karela United will be hoping to maintain their top spot in the NC Special Competition Zone 2 League when they make the long trip from Nzema to face Liberty Professionals in Dansoman on Sunday.
The match-day eight clash promise lots of action as Liberty are also seeking a win after suffering a defeat in the reverse fixture at Nzema in midweek.
Liberty Professionals have not been all that impressive at home as they lost at the Carl Reindorf park in week 6 of the competition to Hearts of Oak though they managed to pip Dreams in the subsequent game in Dansoman.
On paper, Karela seem to be the more stronger side with the likes of Sarfo Taylor, Diawise Taylor, Emmanuel Keyekeh, Darlington Gyanfosu and others in top shape so far.
Karela skipper Ampem Dacosta missed the midweek clash against Liberty and his possible return could be the catalyst for victory or perhaps a clean sheet as he has been very formidable at the back.
Liberty on the other hand will rely on their giant skipper Simon Zibo who has been a warrior in the heart of midfield. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches, Zibo is a bully who can run a one-man show in the heart of midfield.
Also, Frederick Ansah on the wings will be very instrumental if Liberty are to live up to expectation. A very tactical player, Ansah can decide a game on his own.
Liberty can benefit from home advantage but they can be punished by Karela who have shown that regardless of where they play, they can be a nightmare for any team.
